Courses

Sun Valley offers a comprehensive education for all students. When you view our course offerings, you will notice that a wide variety of vocational and elective courses exist in addition to our extensive math, science, history, and English departments. We believe that this menu provides a well-rounded education for our students. The curriculum at SVHS is 100% aligned to the Arizona State Standards and has been reviewed and approved by Cognia, our local accrediting body. Our Instructional Support Specialist, Sarah Coleman, oversees the curriculum as a whole and spearheads program changes and improvements. Feel free to email her at sarah.coleman@leonaschools.com with any curriculum questions or concerns you may have.
