Principal's Message

Dear Sun Valley High School Students, Families, Staff, and Community,

It is an honor to welcome you to a new school year and to serve as the interim principal of Sun Valley High School. I’m grateful for the opportunity to join this community and work alongside our dedicated staff, supportive families, community partners, and—most importantly—our students.

At Sun Valley, we believe every student deserves to be known, supported, challenged, and prepared for what comes next. Our students bring different strengths, experiences, responsibilities, and goals to school each day. Wherever they are in their journey, our responsibility is to meet them there and help them move forward with confidence and purpose.

My commitment is to foster a welcoming, relationship-centered environment where students feel valued, understand that their future matters, and have a clear path toward graduation, college, career, and life beyond high school. High expectations will remain central to our work, but they will always be paired with meaningful support, caring adults, and opportunities for students to discover what they are capable of achieving.

Strong schools are built through partnership. They grow when students, families, educators, and community members communicate openly, work through challenges together, and remain focused on a shared goal: helping every student succeed. During my time at Sun Valley, I look forward to listening and learning, celebrating what is working, addressing challenges thoughtfully, and building on the strengths and traditions that make this school special.
