Sun Valley students and parents follow the schedule below for the 2009 -2010 School Year. All classes meet Monday - Thursday, and all students take three courses each day. Classes are two hours in length, and blocks last nine consecutive weeks. As always, students are welcome to attend school on Fridays to receive individualized instruction from 7:45 a.m.- 5:25 p.m.

We believe that our system has many benefits. First, students are able to take a more diverse schedule with more opportunity to experience electives each block. Additionally, students earn a minimum of six credits each year . . . a plus for credit recovery and students looking to accelerate their educations.

The class schedule for 2009 - 2010 is as follows:

• Period 1: 7:45 a.m. - 9:35 a.m.
• Period 2: 9:40 a.m. - 11:30 p.m.
• BREAK 11:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
• Period 3: 11:45 p.m. - 1:35 p.m.
• Period 4: 1:40 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• Period 5: 3:35 p.m. - 5:25 p.m.
• BREAK 5:25 p.m. - 5:40 p.m.
• Period 6: 5:40 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
• Period 7: 7:35 p.m. - 9:25 p.m.

All students are required to enroll in a minimum of three classes per block.
