Accreditation 

Sun Valley High School is accredited by AdvancEd, formerly known as the North Central Association of Colleges & Schools.  AdvancEd is an indpendent organization that reviews public schools and colleges in the US and around the world.  This accreditation process consists of a thorough review, evaluation, and graded report of the school's mission, performance goals, courses, teacher instruction, administrative prodecures, and achievement data . . . to name a few areas - by a visiting AdvancEd Association team.

To students and parents, accreditation means that a student's transcripts and grades are accepted by secondary and post-secondary schools throughout the country.
