SVHS provides a safe and supportive environment for accelerated education. Through personalized instruction, we incorporate our high academic standards with essential life skills. By meeting individual and academic needs, Sun Valley High School's dedicated staff, along with accredited curriculum and AIMS preparation courses, prepare students for graduation and a future as productive citizens.

SVHS's core supporting business principles:

• To deliver premiere service at every customer interaction.
• No learning can occur without a quality relationship or in the absence of a trusting, nurturing, safe environment.
• The school must recruit, retain, and mentor high quality educators who have a genuine understanding of, and compassion for, the life challenges that students carry into their education careers.
• The 'one-size-fits-all' approach to traditional education has failed many students.  Kids deserve a fresh start with the flexible programmatic options and support services necessary to nurture the 'whole child'.
• Services shouldn't stop outside of the classroom or upon graduation, and all students must have a written plan for future college and/or career success.
• High expectations produce success in our students and ourselves, and excellence should be rewarded and celebrated.
• The question: 'What is best for our kids?' should drive every decision we make.
